came to Porto to celebrate our sons 1st. birthday and Catalonia couldn’t have been better from the facilites being beyond comfortable and classy even for a family room… the staff had been nothing but exceptional from the receptionists to the barman outstanding customer service

This is a stylish and pleasant hotel, with great access to the center of Porto. I love that the gym is available 24/7! The room was spacious and the bathroom seemed very luxurious with the wood floor and large shower. The staff was helpful and had a room ready for early check-in.

Great location, easy to walk wherever we needed. Staff were brilliant, so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was a good size, well equipped and very comfortable (great pillows!), Bathroom also well stocked and the shower really powerful with 2 head options. Fully stocked mini bar with complementary water and coffee. We even had an unexpected balcony! We were only there for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer and used more of the facilities. I would definitely stay here again when next in Porto (which is just such a beautiful city - wow!)

No breakfast taken. Location great for the city, hilly for the river, but perfect if you don’t mind walking. All staff very helpful, reception lovely, Marianna checked us in, she was very informative and welcoming. All other staff, bar, and room service friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. We were more than impressed. We had lunch a couple of times on the terrace, a peaceful break and lovely food. Quite a tranquil area in the heat of the day, with some shady tables. Superior room, quiet, large & a very nice bathroom.

Reception staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome especially Thiago. Our room was very comfortable, the hotel is on a busy street but the soundproofing ensured you could not hear the noise from the traffic. There was a safe in the room. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choices. Location was perfect, the hotel is situated close to bars and restaurants and you can walk everywhere. The metro is 5 minutes walk away, a really great stay.

Perfect location walking distance to everything (City v hilly). Our room was noisy when the windows were open, but miraculously silent when they were shut. Amazing to have a pool area (albeit small) in a city hotel We appreciated having a small but well equipped gym after all the pastries we ate!

Lovely and clean, fab little spa, nice to have an outdoor pool and hot tub included in the facilities. The staff were all very helpful and polite. Would stay again.

The location was central and close to shopping and dining options. The room was a good size and efficiently laid out. The bed was super comfortable.

Very clean, lovely and helpful staff from front desk to bar staff. The hotel is also located in a convenient area and not far to walk to the sights of Porto, two minutes from supermarket and restaurants also close by. I did have the veggie burger in the bar on one night and that was lovely. We have stayed in a Catalonia hotel before and would certainly stay again.
